Your parents and your children.  Those are the people who will always believe in you and your ability to do it, whatever it may be.  Your parents and your children.  The difference, though, is that your parents know that you can do it.  Because they showed you how.  And it’s the right thing.  And they didn’t raise you not to do it.  But your children?  They know you will do it.  Because you’re mom.  And you have to.  And not doing it isn’t even an option.

For 21 years, this fiery bundle of creativity and love has built me into the woman I am, and I am so very proud of the woman she is.  Happy Birthday, Angel Princess.
